I purchased this Mp3 player a year or so ago. The first time I left it in my care over night when it was between 45-55 degrees. It never came back on. I then returned the product because I had bought the extended warranty so I got a replacement. I then gave the replacement to my father in law. He used it inside and when he went to use it the next day the same thing happened. These are cheap and terrible.

I bought this product tonight to use with the SanDisk FM transmitter for use in my car. I store a lot of streaming audio, plays, books, radio talks, etc., from the BBC and NPR, and they're great to use on a long car journey. The player was a refurb and cost me all of $17.00 - gotta be great value, especially with the ability to use a 2GB card. Some people have complained about the sound quality - I wonder if they've discovered the equalizer and WOW sound augmentation system. And I use it with a decent pair of noise cancelling headphones as well, so flights are a breeze.



Only negative so far is those floppy covers for the MP3 and mem card slots. But for the price, you can't beat it.

I had to point that out after seeing this, AGAIN!!!!!!!! I don't remember the other name(s) of this movie is but it is sad that they always stupidly rename these.



Basically the plot is about a young girl who is the princess and is on the run after her father(the emperor) kills himself. She loses an arm but that doesn't stop her, well, at all from what I could tell. It is an extremely boring film all the way and after Lo Lieh's cameo as a wandering swordsman, Carter Wong FINALLY shows back up and helps the retarded sister of the princess. Carter puts on a GREAT acting performance and the final fight with the ridiculous looking baddie is just not good enough, but certainly better than the rest of the film.



The film print from Tai Seng is very bad at the start but cleans up and you are able to see the fights pretty well, at least the few fights that there are.

Affiliate Marketing My Best Decision


When I decided to quit my job and start an internet business, I was clueless. I researched and found several viable opportunities however the more I read, the more I realized how difficult this was going to be. I did not have a product and was in no position to create one. I had it in my head I wanted to sell something so I started out in the drop shipping business.

I researched wholesalers that were willing to drop ship and found a few. I built a simple yahoo! site, created a merchant account, got my resellers license and voila, I was in business. Did I get a sale? Nope, because I did not know how the internet worked with regards to website marketing. No one could find my site and I was a marketing failure.

Because my site didnt sell anything, I gave up and continued on the research path. I slowly learned about how to market my site but wasnt sure I wanted to stick with drop shipping. My site costs combined with credit card merchant costs and plain old competition didnt really leave me with much profit. I realized I still had much to learn.

I went back to the research drawing board and joined a few forums to learn what else I might be able to do. At that time I learned about affiliate programs. I met people I trusted and admired who promoted affiliate programs. I asked a lot of questions and began my research. Affiliate marketing appealed to me. I didnt need a merchant account, I didnt need inventory, I didnt need my own product and I could even get away without a website. Wow, how good is that? So off I went.

As I began to research I found the best selling products were informational products and the best commissions were internet marketing products. Because I was familiar with setting up a website previously I decided to set up another site to list of all my affiliate sales products. I fell into the trap that most new web business owners fall into. Setting up a How to Market on the internet site. I liked it because I was familiar with it and I had purchased some of the products through my research. So why not? Well, simply put there is too much competition in that category. I still have my site today but my sales are minimal. I offer only products that I trust and many of them I use but its not a business path Id recommend to someone starting out, particularly because many beginners tend to gravitate there. There are lots of other things that have good marketing potential. Affiliate marketing can be successfully applied to almost any product on the net.

If researched carefully and applied correctly, affiliate sales can be a very profitable internet business. The object is to find something you can sell and promote for merchants that will offer you a commission to sell it. You dont have to carry inventory, collect money, worry about delivery or even have a website (although a website is a good idea), but youre going to have to think about what products best suit you with regard to sales. I feel its best to sell things that you like. Things youre interested in or have a fetish about. For instance, lets say you love crystal. If you love it then you probably know something about it, but more importantly you will enjoy researching it and offering it to someone else.

Next, research web businesses that sell crystal and offer affiliate programs. I recommend using Commission Junction or Linkshare. Keep in mind that the sites you select can sell other things, however youre focusing on just crystal. Find several sites and apply to them all. Most affiliate programs are free. A note to the wise, be sure to read the affiliate agreements and understand their rules. They are not all the same.

Once youve signed up for the programs of your choice, pay per click (PPC) search engines are the best and easiest way to sell your affiliate products. You can promote each product individually or you can promote them all by building a website and promoting your website. Again, be sure to read the agreements as some affiliate programs restrict affiliates offering their competition on the same website. This isnt true for all of them but you want to stay aware.

To get started youll need to set up accounts with PPC search engines such as Google, Overture and Findwhat. Research how they work and set up some simple ad campaigns to start. You will also need to research keywords and what words cost the least and are the most effective. This is a topic for another article, however time spent and proper research tools such as Overtures view bids and search term suggestion tools will help keep your costs low and your profits high. By the way, use each of the keyword tools provided by each PPC search engine; this will help guide you as to what keywords to use. Keywords entered by users can differ from search engine to search engine.

If you choose to build a website, keep your sight on topic. Getting back to our crystal example, keep your site focused on crystal or glassware, dont throw in pictures or garden chairs. The worst mistake you can make is being everything to everyone. I know; Ive made that mistake.

Offer information such as types of types of crystal, how its made, textures, weight, where its made, history of crystal, etc. Concentrate on offering information. If you give people valuable information on something theyre more likely to buy it.

Of course crystal is just an example; you can apply the same principles to sofas, bicycles, computers, toys or whatever you might take pleasure in. Give it some quality thought, research carefully and take your time. If its something you enjoy, youll enjoy your business.

I am by no means a music critic, only a fan of this band. They played at our Murphy Walmart and sold 123 CD's from their new album. So, as a fan of Shady Creek Outlaws I have to disagree about how weak their music is on this album. They played for over 300 people that day and played mostly off of the Waylon Grass and we were very impressed with this local band and very proud of them. If I recall correctly Waylon, himself was ridiculed with his first endeavor with music. So buy the cd and make up your own mind. We know what everbody says about opinions.Thank you Shady Creek Outlaws it's a very enjoyable toe tapping or should I say toe stomping experience. Keep up the great work.

Customer Review: Nice curio folks who'd like to hear Waylon's music done in a bluegrass style

Playing Time - 37:51 -- Waylon Jennings once said something to the effect that "I ain't no cowboy. I'm a country boy. I'm a hillbilly. My music ain't no Nashville sound. It's my kind of country. It's not western. It's Waylon." That, in a nutshell, might be why bluegrass renditions of his songs work well. What other genre can so delightfully tap Waylon's classic country spirit and hillbilly charm so tactfully and respectfully? Of course, we can't help but compare these bluegrass renditions to the original arrangements. Despite their promotion as "bluegrass with attitude," the North Carolina-based Shady Creek Outlaws are a little weak in the mandolin and fiddle departments which don't allow them to achieve the greatest potential from this idea. The banjo's equalization and body are also rather thin on this project.



The Shady Creek Outlaws include J.D Prince (mandolin), Alan Chastain (guitar), Ronnie Chastain (banjo), Randy Bryant (fiddle), Dale Roberts (bass) and Wayne Bridge (guitar, dobro). What the band lacks in some instrumental prowess, they make up for in spirited vocals handled by J.D., Ronnie and Alan. The Chastain brothers were the core impetus for the band's formation. Ronnie started performing at age 17, but it wouldn't be until he turned 45 that he and his brothers, Alan and Odell, formed "Shady Creek." They put out a CD, played small local venues, and also booked some festivals in Tennessee. It was at the 2003 Cherokee Jamboree's Battle of the Bands that they met Jody Prince and shortly thereafter formed The Shady Creek Outlaws. The foundation of their outlaw bluegrass sound is "just feeling the music."



The Outlaws pick some classic Waylon to cover: Good Old Boys, Never Could Toe the Mark, Good Hearted Woman, I'm A Ramblin' Man, Lucille, and the great tribute to Hank Williams, Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way. The latter was a minor pop hit for Waylon in 1974. How does one choose which songs to put on a tribute album? There are a couple that I wish The Outlaws would've worked up - My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys, Luchenbach Texas, Belle of the Ball, Amanda, Lonesome Onry and Mean are the ones that immediately come to mind. Perhaps another volume is forthcoming. I understand from label President Sammy Passamano Jr. that this album is the first in a new series from Rural Rhythm Records entitled "Fresh Cutgrass." Tribute albums seems to be catching on, and they are being used as vehicles to introduce many to bluegrass music in general. Waylon Jennings is a legend who left an idelible mark on the American country music scene. At only age 64, he died on 2/13/02 as a result of complications of diabetes. While the Shady Creek Outlaws venture is a novel idea, I'm not sure that they'll make much noise or have much impact with this tribute. For fans of Waylon's music and bluegrass, it will end up making a nice curio in one's music collection for folks who'd like to hear his music done in a slightly different manner. I purchased 2 sets of these headphones for my kids, 3 and 5. We used them on 2 plane rides and one of the sides stopped working on one pair - and we were not rough with them at all. The size is nice - they stayed on their head for the most part, but there are much higher quality products out there that cost about the same, have better sound quality, are more cushy and are less flimsy

Customer Review: Califone First Stereo Headphone

I ordered six of these to use in my first grade classroom. They are much easier for small hands to manipulate than the usual headphones issued by the school district. I think what I like best about them is how easy they are for the children to adjust. The size is relatively petite, although I can place them on my head without a problem. The district headphones have sliders on either side which can easily slide down during use, causing students to complain (to me, of course!) about the headphone slipping, or not fitting. The Califone's adjustment is integrated in the piece which fits on the head. The cushion over the ear is better quality too. Very comfortable fit. My only hesitation about them is the fragility of the cord. The district headphones are thicker and can take abuse. The Califones have a thinner cord: children need to be shown how to properly plug and unplug them and warned not to pull on the line or to tangle it. Kids appreciate quality too! Great item. Definitely worth it whether you are a parent or teacher. I'm planning to acquire more.
